"as from the date of the notification of definitive

approval under section 3(4) and without prejudice to any

private rights a claimant may have had up to that time for the purposes of compensation under this Ordinance" should

be substituted for the words "prior to the commencement of

the said works".

There is no objection to this sub-

stitution if it is thought that it will conduce to greater

clearness.
